Course program “Beginner Carving”
Course objective: from mastering basic movements on skis to parallel skiing with sliding.
Day 1.
Classes start at 10:00.
Warm-up and stretching
Theoretical part:
-Rules of conduct on the slope.
-Equipment arrangement and testing
Practical part:
-Getting used to the equipment, mastering basic movements on skis
-Descent in the basic stance, balance control, mastering basic movements on skis
-Mastering the “plow” stance, riding in the “plow” stance, speed control, stopping in the “plow” stance.
Lunch at 12:00
Classes start at 13:00
Practical part:
-Reinforcement of the material covered, correction of errors.
– Turns in the “plow” stance
– Learning to use the ski lift
Practicing technical exercises on blue slopes.
15.00 end of training freestyle program!
Day 2.
Classes start at 10.00
Warm-up and stretching
Practical part:
-Reinforcement of the material covered, working on mistakes
-Practicing technical exercises on blue slopes, correcting mistakes.
Lunch at 12.00
Classes start at 13.00
– Traverse stance, learning parallel skiing on the upper slopes of increased difficulty
– Practicing technical exercises
-Free skiing
15/00 end of training
– Video review and analysis of mistakes
Day 3.
Classes start at 10:00
Warm-up, stretching
Practical part:
– Reinforcement of the material covered
– Practice of technical exercises
– Correction of errors
– Free skiing
Lunch at 13:00
Classes start at 13:00
– Overcoming difficult sections of the slope by side sliding
– Practice of technical exercises
– Strengthening ski control on the upper edges, traverse stand.
– Free skiing
– Correction of errors
15:00 end of classes/ free swimming!
Day 4
Classes start at 10:00
Warm-up, stretching
Practical part:
– Reinforcement of the material covered,
– Practice of technical exercises
– Work on mistakes
– Turn – carving (beginner level)
– Free skating
Lunch at 12:00
Classes start at 13:00
– Reinforcement of the material covered
– Turn on parallel skis on medium-steep slopes
– Practice of technical exercises
Free skating

Video viewing and analysis of mistakes.
Day 5

Warm-up/stretching
Practical part
Working on technique on groomed slopes/possibility of going out
Off-piste/adaptation to off-piste skiing freeride
If weather permits
12-13 rest
From 13-15
Working on technique on regular slopes level red black
Going out to freeride if weather permits within the resort
